Wearable Humidity Sensors: Nitrogen-Doped Single Graphene Fiber with Platinum Water Dissociation Catalyst for Wearable Humidity Sensor

Hyeon Su Jeong, Il-Doo Kim, and their team have developed nitrogen-doped graphene fibers functionalized with platinum catalytic nanoparticles for wearable humidity sensors. These fibers, made from two-dimensional graphene sheets, have rough and wrinkled surfaces. The platinum-decorated graphene fibers demonstrate high sensitivity and fast response times, capable of detecting the humidity in human breath.
