Chul-Ho Lee, Gwan-Hyoung Lee, and their co-workers have developed a novel light-emitting field-effect transistor (LEFET) using a van der Waals heterostructure. By controlling the injection of holes and electrons in the graphene–WSe2 contacts, they achieved multiple modes of operation.
