Sang-Kwon Lee and his team have discovered that inserting a monolayer of WSe2 between Pt and yttrium iron garnet (YIG) layers significantly boosts the thermopower, VLSSE/ΔT, by approximately 5.6 times compared to the Pt/YIG reference sample.
