The front cover picture, provided by Jang and co-workers, demonstrates the metal-free carbon monoxide (CO) capture by the organic base 1,5,7-triazabicyclo[4.4.0]dec-5-ene (TBD). The study reveals that the simple organic base TBD dimer captures CO through a non-covalent interaction, and the resulting TBD-CO adducts are used to transfer CO to amines, forming formylated amines with high yields.
