Donghwa Lee, Jooho Moon, and their team have developed a method to stabilize α-CsPbI3 perovskite using strain engineering. By confining CsPbI3 perovskite within a vertically aligned nanoporous template, they applied strain to the perovskite lattice, achieving ultra-stable black α-CsPbI3 with desirable optoelectrical properties.
