Many research groups have developed unique micro/nano-structured dry adhesives by mimicking gecko feet using molding methods. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) has become the most commonly used material for making these adhesives due to its suitable properties. However, PDMS production is slow, taking around two hours. To address this, we developed a PDMS continuous-production system using thermal roll-imprinting lithography (TRL), achieving production speeds of up to 150 mm/min while maintaining good adhesion performance.
