Nanowelding: Shape-Controlled 3D Periodic Metal Nanostructures Fabricated via Nanowelding

Sang-Hu Park, Jun-Ho Jeong, and their team have developed a new method for creating three-dimensional (3D) metal nanostructures using nanoimprint lithography, electron-beam evaporation, and nanowelding. The shape of these nanostructures can be precisely controlled by adjusting the temperature during the nanowelding process. This innovative method has potential applications in color displays, holographic imaging, information encoding, anti-counterfeiting, and biosensors.
