We propose the use of gelatin hydrogel as an electrolyte and demonstrate the functionality of organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) based on a sheet of gelatin. By adjusting the pH of the gelatin hydrogel from acidic to basic, we successfully modulated the electrical characteristics of the OECTs and analyzed their behavior using electrochemical theory. Furthermore, we extended the application of gelatin-based OECTs to create electrochemical logic circuits, including NOT, NOR, and NAND gates, showcasing their potential in advanced electronic applications. – Journal cover design by scapiens
