Jaephil Cho, Xien Liu, and their team have reported the development of low-loading RhxP and RuP on N, P co-doped carbon, which serve as efficient catalysts for oxygen and hydrogen electrocatalytic reactions. Their tests with Zn-air batteries and water splitting reveal that these multifunctional catalysts can be used in real-world applications to produce hydrogen and oxygen for charging electric and fuel cell vehicles. – Journal cover design by scapiens
