Mojca Jazbinsek, O-Pil Kwon, Fabian Rotermund, and their team have introduced a new class of efficient terahertz generators using a complementary tandem configuration of highly nonlinear organic crystals. This novel approach enhances terahertz electric fields and improves spectral distribution, providing effective terahertz spectral filling at phonon-induced absorption gaps.
