Capacitors: Synthesis of Pseudocapacitive Polymer Chain Anode and Subnanoscale Metal Oxide Cathode for Aqueous Hybrid Capacitors Enabling High Energy and Power Densities along with Long Cycle Life

Coverimage88

Jeung Ku Kang, Hyung Mo Jeong, and their team have developed aqueous hybrid capacitors (AHCs) using fibre-like polymer chain anodes and sub-nanoscale metal oxide cathodes. These AHCs offer energy densities higher than aqueous batteries and can be recharged in seconds, making them ideal for wearable display kits powered by photovoltaic and USB chargers.
